Every Alaskan deserves a stronger, more secure future with a House Representative who practices transparency, who can work closely with Governor Palin and our state administration.   As your State Representative, I will represent those values most important to you as an Alaskan.   I promise to work for a strong economy, to promote responsible resource development, to fight increased taxes on Alaskans, and to curb government spending.

I will establish a Legislative office in the 24 District and will provide email and phone messaging for the "people of District 24" to contact me 24 hours a day.

• Government Needs to Listen:
  

  Our state budget is huge but somehow basic needs still don't get addressed.

  When will politicians fix Lake Otis and Tudor?

  Is anyone listening to constituents?

• No Closed Meetings:

  Legislative business should be conducted in the open, not in secret.   The public has the right to know what is being discussed and who is doing the discussing.

• Affordable, Accessible Health Care:
  

  I will work for affordable, accessible, quality health care.   I am in favor of policies that promote consumer choice and transparent, market based solutions rather than government mandates.

  Prevention is the best way to avoid continually escalating health care costs.

  Next, early recognition and effective treatment are necessary to limit the impact of illness and disease on the individuals and the community at large.

  I believe the State of Alaska needs a program of all inclusive care for Elderly (PACE).   I will work for and support this type of program.
